There are many strategies available to green the small and medium   industries. Cleaner Production is one of the popular strategies, where the focus   is on prevention and continuous improvement. Optimizing process parameters such   as temperature, pressure, time, speed, concentration and modes of operation can   be the main approach in developing greener industries. In addition, use of   environmentally friendly products, logistic management and use of other   approaches such as “Just in Time Concept” and “Lean Manufacturing” can also   result in greener industries. The speaker will be sharing some industrial   examples on how some of the approaches are implemented with positive results.   Subsequently, the speaker will also be sharing how this strategy can be   implemented successfully in small and medium industries.
